  • Total Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup chai tea concentrate (bottled or homemade)
  • 1 cup milk of choice (whole milk or oat milk work best)
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin puree (canned or fresh)
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup or honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • For the Cold Foam:
  • 3 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin puree
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup
  • A pinch of pumpkin pie spice for garnish

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Heat the Chai Base
In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the chai tea concentrate and the milk. Stir occasionally until the mixture is steaming but not boiling.
  2. Step 2: Whisk in Pumpkin and Spices
Add the pumpkin puree, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and pumpkin pie spice to the saucepan. Whisk vigorously until the pumpkin is fully incorporated and the liquid is smooth and fragrant.
  3. Step 3: Prepare the Pumpkin Cold Foam
While the latte base is heating, place the heavy cream, milk, pumpkin puree, and maple syrup in a small glass or frothing pitcher. Use a handheld milk frother for about 30 seconds until the mixture doubles in volume and becomes thick and foamy.
  4. Step 4: Assemble the Latte
Pour the hot pumpkin chai mixture into a large mug. Gently pour or spoon the pumpkin cold foam over the top of the drink. The foam should sit elegantly on the surface.
  5. Step 5: Garnish and Serve
Dust the top of the cold foam with a pinch of pumpkin pie spice or a little extra cinnamon. Serve immediately while the base is hot and the foam is fresh.
